Andrew was called to the Ontario bar following the completion of his articles as a judicial law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto. While clerking, Andrew worked predominantly on motions, pre-trials and trials in the areas of class action, complex civil proceedings, and personal injury cases.
Following his clerkship, Andrew developed a diverse civil litigation practice, working with some of the best civil litigators and negotiators in Canada. He represented his clients at various levels of court on motions and appeals in the area of class actions, personal injury, employment, insurance, construction and commercial litigation. Andrew has acted as trial counsel in jury and judge alone trials.
While Andrew enjoyed his days as a "winner-take-all" litigator, he prefers the resolution of disputes through negotiation and mediation where the parties may together determine the outcome of their differences.
Andrew is the past chair of the Online Dispute Resolution Task Force of ADRIC and is the Staff Lawyer at Windsor Law’s Class Action Clinic.
